COMPANY BRAND DESIGN

BRANDING & PACKAGING

THE BRIEF & SOLUTION

Create a visual identity and packaging for a perfume brand.

Monix is a perfume company with more than 80 years in the market. They hired me to redesign the company’s visual identity because they wanted to sell their products in big retailers such as supermarkets, pharmacies and department stores. In addition to redesigning the brand, they also needed to redesign all their products and create new ones.

With the new visual identity, they started selling to large department stores, growing from 2 to 12 own shops and increasing the prices of their products.

I designed a modernist style logo that works well in a minimalist and modern space without forgetting its history. The isotype is reminiscent of the scent. The wordmark and the isotype function well together or separately. The logo also has a circle variant that has a good performance on perfume labels and packaging. The characters in the logo had to be readable in minimum size, so I had to work hard to achieve this objective.
