Brand Designer Specialist

I’m a brand designer, strategist and researcher, focused on the future of branding. With 20 years of experience and currently pursuing a Master by Research at York St John University on branding in the metaverse. My research empirically assesses consumers’ perceptions of brand authenticity, to better understand how to create and adapt brand strategies and visual identities for this new era shaped by VR, AR, and Gen-AI, and evolving from physical to immersive virtual environments. Because tomorrow’s strongest brands will be those that better adapt to emerging contexts without losing their authenticity and consistency.

As technologies evolve and audiences adopt them, brands must remain aligned with market demands and trends, requiring an unprecedented level of flexibility to adapt to this ever-changing scenario.

Developing authentic brands for both today’s and tomorrow’s world calls for a paradigm shift in brand strategy and visual identity design. My extensive experience as a designer, academic, and researcher in branding has provided me with a broad perspective on how to develop lasting, distinctive, and memorable brands with a dynamic visual identity system capable of thriving in real life (IRL), on web2, web3, and in the metaverse.

What I don’t like
The crude. The poorly crafted. The unoriginal, or worse, the bad imitation. Anything that pretends to be something it’s not. That which lacks emotion. The overly complicated. The overpriced with no value. The soulless.

However, what do I love?
The noble. The beautiful. The inspiring. The simple yet intelligent. The unique. The minimalist aesthetic. What tells a story. The high-quality. Visionary thinking. Creative outcomes. A broader perspective. Ideas with foresight. Futures imagined, not just predicted.

Whether it’s a brand identity, packaging, a physical or virtual space, or just a concept, everything I design must align with what I believe. Because there’s already plenty of disposable design in the world, my aim is for my design to stand out and endures.
